| This leadership workshop helps school administrators define and develop policies around digital citizenship for their schools or districts. School leaders learn how to help their teachers, students, and parents become smart and effective participants in a digital world while creating a safe and secure environment for learning and teaching. In this workshop, educators will take an in-depth look at successful initiatives around the world and how they are using technology to enhance learning and teaching. This hands-on virtual workshop focuses on unpacking the NETS and rethinking the design of NETS learning activities as well as ways to measure their effectiveness. ISTE will prepare lead teachers to work with faculty teams throughout their school districts to embed the NETS across the curriculum. | During this three-day professional development opportunity, teachers and site administrators will gain an in-depth understanding of the NETS while learning from NETS experts about the essential conditions for implementation at the classroom, school, and district levels. Administrators play a pivotal role in determining how well we use technology in our schools. The NETS for Administrators (NETS•A) enable us to define what administrators need to know and be able to do to lead the effective use of technology in schools. The goal of this program is to provide leaders with strategies, tools, and support via the NETS•A. In this workshop, ISTE will work directly with leaders and teachers who possess advanced technology skills and are interested in building their NETS skill set. We have designed this professional learning experience to help participants become NETS coaches for their peers and in their schools. Please contact us so we can learn more about your goals and discuss building the PD plan that will meet them. Yolanda Ramos, Director of Professional Development Services yramos@iste.org
